This project started by envisioning a three dimensional letterform and creating it. I used recovered slides that I found at a second hand store. Once the physical letters were created, I was able to extrapolate the idea to form a complete alphabet. I worked with shades of blue to keep the illusion of the slides, without making it overpowering and obvious. The name "CHROMAKODA" is a play on the name of slide film that Kodak introduced in 1935, called Kodachrome.
